Day Three: Korean Herald news
The Korean Herald ran this story.

I find two things worrisome. First, there’s STILL no mention of the 51 of us being quarantined. Second:
“As they (the teachers) were found to have continued daily activities without recognizing their infection, epidemiologists are investigating further infection among people they contacted with in the neighborhood.”
I don’t think anyone didn’t recognize the severity of the situation, more-over they simply weren’t told there was an issue. Most people in Korea come to work as sick as a dog, just ask any english teacher or otherwise about attempting to call in sick with the flu and you’ll hear stories that range from humorous to horrible. My girlfriend was actually given a megaphone to teach the day after she went to the ER and was diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia and fractured ribs from coughing fits.
And on a funnier note, several people have told me that a guy from one of those delivery services that brings food and beer just walked right into the quarantine facility last night and started passing out flyers to a group of people playing Mahjong on the third floor.
